Our Happy Tails pages is a place where everyone including the previous owners, the dedicated volunteers, as well as the new adoptive families come together to celebrate in the success stories for the individual dogs adopted through 4 Love of Canines.
Regardless of whether a dog has come to us from a once loving home or has been saved from death in a kill shelter, his or her story begins with someone willing to help. Here we share in the culmination of our efforts, the enjoyment these dogs bring into our lives, and the acknowledgement that the difference we make matters, even if just in the life of one dog.
Everyone that participates in the rescue and/or care of these dogs would like to say “Thank you” to all of our supporters and pet owners both old and new for your updates and letters of encouragement. They are always appreciated and continue to be enjoyed by many.
To find a specific pet’s Happy Tail, just click on the year that the pet was adopted…
Although the dogs you see on the Happy Tails pages are now healthy and happily living out their lives in a new loving home, let us not forget that there are many others still waiting on death row in kill shelters hoping for their chance to be rescued.

The number of pets we can save is directly determined by the number of foster homes available at any given time. If you are unable to make a life time commitment to a pet, but would still like to enjoy the benefits of a companion animal, fostering a pet might be the right solution for you.
If you have the room in your home and your heart to become a foster parent, please visit the

section and email us for an application today.
You can also help by making a donation or sponsoring a pet to help fund the much needed medical treatments, transport costs, and general maintenance of the animals in our care. To find out how, please visit our “Donate” page.

Please remember to visit the Animal Rescue site and help feed an animal today.
Your clicks count! Since The Animal Rescue Site began in 2002, together we have funded more than 126,000,000 bowls of food for rescued animals in shelters and sanctuaries.
